You write a good story here and you have me feeling your pain. You did a good job with rhyme and flow, carried along with a steady dose of humor. You have earned a separate outing.

Thanks, Ginda. When we use separate cars next Sunday, I think I will get lost in traffic.

You had me rolling on the floor! It's so very cute! It has a beautiful meter and flowed through my ears as well as the pleasing rhymes you have chosen were a melody. Poetry humor indeed! Kudos

Thanks for the great review. I'm always happy when I can get someone rolling on the floor.

What a hoot! This is so funny because you have penned this dialogue so clearly, every sigh, sideways glance premonition of the direction of the conversation sat so neatly.
Every beat was enjoyable on this ride - for me the reader at least!
2nd last stanza though="thought"
Best wishes.

Thanks, Karyn. Sorry about the typo. It should be fixed now.

This is a fun story to read but not likely if you are on the recieving end of all that dissatisfaction. It would make the Sunday outing quite unpleasant. You tell it with a lot of humor. I'm wondering which one of you will choose to ride in the Boobmobile. I'll be it want be her. Good luck in the contest.

Thanks, Beth. I wrote this when we driving to see my grandchildren. My wife, who was driving, kept asking me what I was laughing about.

Now that is what I call a ride, author. :) Cruising and wishing you were alone in a car. No such luck. Yet, for better or not so good that ring tells us that we understood... that the wife wears the seatbelt in life. I rather be fishing. :) Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the review. Believe it or not, I wrote this while my wife and I were driving to visit my grandchildren. She was driving.
