Children are so entertained by spoken sounds. I refer to 'Penny Penelope Applebee', the main character of your poem. I've been away, and it appears I have missed much so please forgive me. It looks like Penny has been around for awhile.
I enjoyed the rhyme, great imagery, a very entertaining story in a poem. Excellent overall presentation.

That was really lovely. I think children would love to read this, that picture is perfect. I like the easy rhythm, it's catchy, which is another thing that children like, they can easily learn it. Her name is fabulous, I loved everything about this. I just wish we had a dog park here like the one you describe in your poem. Well done and good luck! :)) Sandra
