Eww, the zombies took over after a deceptive image of a yellow-lit woman takes him off guard, and now Lord Duve is a pile of crumpled skin without bones. Daggart the Dark (what a great name) must have been taking lessons from a voodoo master or Lord Voldemort. I am thinking yellow is getting a workout in the last part of this chapter. You might want to change one of the instances of yellow to a yellowish color, like putrid, half-murky golden-gray.

Extremely well written. Not the sort of story I would normally be drawn to but the imagery you were able to conjure made me believe I was watching a movie as I read your words. Keep up the fine work. Very inspiring.

You do a great job writing action and descriptions. Lord Duve doesn't look like he came to a good end. I want to caution you about starting your paragraphs the same. Lord Duve started seven or eight paragraphs and King Darian probably started about as many.
