I love that Pip can talk to his buddy. I wish that could really happen. I gave up making resolutions years ago. I never could remember to keep them. I hope there are more stories with Pip.

I'm sure if they could talk most of the conversation would be about food and treats. Thanks so much for this. I appreciate your kind review. Gretchen

Boy, this pup is rather talkative. Does he really speak in human language? A very timely post for all those New Year's resolutions that never make it. It's good that our friends keep us sane.
niave pup then." (naive) (it's hard to put the two dots on the 'i' to be really correct.)

How could I not like this very cute "tail", there's one thing about dogs that I really like, as as we're around they're happy, they just want to "tag along", the only time they didn't like long walks was when the weren't physically up it, beautifully written Gretchen, most imaginative, blessings Roy

Pip has become my Muse. I may have to collect his stories together and make a book. The world according to Pip. Lol. Thanks so much for this nice review. Gretchen

This was a fun piece on resolutions. I love how expressive your pet was during this "conversation." Good luck with your resolutions, and best wishes to you.

So true, dogs do make the very best friends. I have always thought they make much better people than the two-legged species could ever hope to.
Pip sounds like a smart dog who has been through the wringer with you before with, like most people, resolutions that only last a couple weeks at best then are done away with.

I like this and you should have entered it into the dialogue contest.
You and pip need to get out of the house because that's what it's all about!
He needs you to walk him at least twice a day!
He doesn't have a litter box like my cat and he's very smart and knows that!
...
This was well written rich in Theme and Imagery.
It also, read well and flowed well with No Grammar Issues.
...
Complete Synopsis:
The Adjective and Objective Contents were both Excellent and Exceptional while Descriptive Measures aligned most Perfectly.
Thanks for sharing this and have a Blessed day.

I have lost track of how many times I've attempted on walking every day. It's sad thinking about it. LOL I do attempt to walk on most days. LOL I have set a number of steps I have to meet each day. It rarely includes walking. I don't take Harley, my dog with me. He does more smelling than walking. LOL I had fun reading.

Same. I walk better alone. My husband is my dogs' hero. He walks them every single day and it doesn't matter the weather. Thank you so much for the nice and understanding review. Gretchen
