Your haiku poem has all the elements that describe the wintry season. You chose the appropriate strong words which have an impact on the readers mind: stillness, deep...etc.
I could feel the bitter cold!!!

"Haiku (complete stillness)
Silence, stillness, bitter, cold.
Sounds to me for a Great Recipe for Immediate Death!
Well written rich in Theme and Imagery it also, read well and flowed well with No Grammar Issues.
Good luck with your contest entry and have a Blessed day.

Oh the silence of the winter when nothing is growing and everything is at rest. It is a time of year when we should also be catching up on our sleep, I enjoyed the tranquility within these words, love Dolly x

You've written an excellent traditional 5-7-5 haiku for the contest
with excellent winter imagery and use of alliteration.
The third line works nicely to enhance the icy stillness.
Nicely done.
Best wishes in the contest.

It appears as if you found the perfect photo and then wrote a beautiful haiku to suit it. That is usually better than the other way around. Thank you for sharing.

This is lovely and paints a picture in the mind. It makes me feel cold and yet appreciative of the beauty that winter brings. This is a fine contest entry, best of luck to you. :)

This is an outstanding entry for the Seasonal Haiku Contest.
You really captured the mystic and wonderment of winter. Heck, it would be paradise, you know, if it weren't for the cold.

What a gorgeous image you have chosen! Those colours are stunning and your poem is a beautiful accompaniment that speaks of the wintery stillness and cold. A well thought through Haiku.
