Wayne,

This is another great chapter. I like Ohmie taking charge of the operation from the home fortress.

It didn't take much debate. Why trapse all over Europe -- although trapse is an accepted variant, I think traipse is the preferred spelling and most commonly used

Thank you. And my wife, who is a very good writer, agrees with you regarding traipse.

:-) To me "variant" means "crossword puzzle." :-)

I had thought that once Ohmie and his parents returned home, things would begin to slow down. Boy, was I wrong! Now they're setting a trap for Dortch! I guess the story can't end until the bad guy is caught:-)

Good chapter, Wayne. Hope your holidays are bright!

I won't pretend to have understood all the technological details of what they're all doing, but Ohmie obviously is "with it" enough to not only understand but be very helpful to both his parents. He's hanging in there, health wise. Well written.
Wendy.

Ohmie has been at death's door for a long time, but whoa! can the kid reason! He is quite an asset to his dad and mom's team. I guess I'll have to just stay confused about prehistoric vs the modern-day Ohmie. I assume they are somehow one-and-the-same. I'll have all next year to figure it out. Meantime, have a Happy Holiday season, Wayne.

There's an Ohmie in every age.
It's taken months to post this, but only a few weeks have passed.
    Thank you for the review.
Happy Holidays to you, as well.

I must have missed a lot of this story. What happened to Ohme? Is he sick or injured in some way? Your story is engaging and interesting to read. I will watch for the next chapter.

    Thank you.
In the first chapter, Ohmie was diagnosed with stage four lymphoma. He is a prodigy, very gifted and talented, but is still just a thirteen year old. He got himself suspended from school where he was trying to live out his life as normal as possible. Then he became swept into his parents' life of spycraft.
You can get a fair grip of the tale by reading only chapter one, found in the portfolio.

I get the feeling that everything is coming to fruition soon. I remember you mentioned 38 chapters, so w still have a ways to go. Pretty amazing 13-year-old, but part of his expertise rubbed off from his parents.
Complicated series of events leading up to setting the trap for Dortch, but broke it down for us in your dialogue.
Great story, terrific tension!

A well written chapter. I moved faster than it seemed. Plans set in motion, defenses set and recheck and Ohmie, sorry, no gun. But, I think he will get one. It just makes sense.

We decided that instead of moving my room downstairs, converting the dining room, or the formal living room, and then in a matter of weeks having to change it back, we decided to put a chair lift on the stairs.

- you may consider condensing this long explanation.

    Yup. Ohmie needs a gun.
I thought about the long sentence, but thought that it reflected Ohmie's juvenile nature. Maybe a reminder of 'why' they would be moving stuff back - that he would be dead?
