A very different and unusual murder mystery with the inclusion of spiritual beings, both angelic and demonic. I'm trying to keep track of all the action. Santucci's demise - was he responsible for Tommy's daughter's death?

Yes, it is. I have a fondness for Frank Peretti books where the demons and angels are in the story as well. I just added my crime fiction twist. Sending you my best today and many thanks for your kind review. Sal XOs

In the first section of this new chapter, angel Patience frustrated and eventually thwarted demon DeeCayed and had the four spiritual eagles carry him off to the lair of Beelzebub -- a most amusing episode.
In Section Two, I like the fact that Patience lent Chase Levins a classic 1959 Porsche as incentive to drive to Aspen Grove to tell what he knew to Detective Tommy Thompson. Such details add extra interest to the story.
In Section Three, Mr. Levins provided enough information to fascinate readers about what may be coming, and the medical examiner in White Falls County, NY, calls to confirm that it was indeed Joseppi L. Santucci in the burned up Mercedes-Benz at the bottom of the cliff.
As usual, everything in this chapter moved along at a brisk pace, and was filled with interesting detail and plausible dialog. By now, readers of all chapters so far have acclimated to the spiritual factor and characters in this unusual but fascinating detective story. Superb, and aptly illustrated.

You are most welcome, Sal. Like all your other stories of all kinds, this one captures and holds the growing interest of its readers. Not all storytellers are so consistent in that aspect. Brava! :))))) -- Mike

DeCayed has finally gone down the drain, Sally. It is good to have Patience in this story. :) So, Tommy Thompson loads his gun with patience as his side-kick? I like the story, but if Santucci killed his daughter the case is closed, right? Waiting on the next chapter. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the excellent review and insightful comments. No, the case is not closed. There has been a pattern of crime and more children that have disappeared from Aspen Grove without a trace. Tommy is taking up their cases and has an Angel to help. Sending you my best today as always,

I'm thinking that Patience is the one to have on your side! Great description of spiritual battles here! I like your characters and I wish that we knew more about the battles won daily on our behalf!

This story is a little less easy to follow than your previous stories. I suppose it is the demons and angels getting into the act. I'm assuming the demon has Santucci's phone, and Pat took care of the demon. Now I need to know what is next. Have a lovely healthy 2023.

I'm glad that the Angel Patience has captured DeCayed and packed him off to a place he undoubtedly doesn't want to go to, probably to the discipline he richly deserves at the hands of Beelzebub or Lucifer. Chase Levins is opening up and hopefully confessing what he knows about Joe Santucci. Beautifully written dear Sally, blessings Roy

Wow, Sally, a lot is happening here. But so far the seems to be winning over the bad. Let's hope.it stays that way. This is a most unusual story. It actually fascinates me. Now onto here you're taking this. Ulla xxx

This story makes a person want to remember what you have written in each chapter; if you don't, you can lose yourself in thought. Some movies can be that way, too. There is an individual who creates the story frightening: that's the wicked demon! But the angel is filled with patience to solve this case.

I enjoyed this installment of The Aspen Grove Murders. I must say that I'm glad I don't live in the town with all the strange goings on that seem to occur there. You do a great job at keeping us guessing. I look forward to the next chapter.
