I very much enjoyed reading this poem. My favorite lines were: Amid canyons of columned granite,
Villages of rocks
And also I liked the comparison to little boys who won't sit still among the clouds.

You description are so colorful and magical I feel I there witnessing what you are saying. I love how you picture the cotton candy clouds tumbling around like little boys and rock like Indians guarding teepees. Beautifully written.

Thank you Verna. I am not at all photogenic so it?s very hard to get a flattering photo. My previous photo disappeared at some unknown point, so I have been fiddling around trying to find another.

A very good poem, with beautiful imagery. The personification of nature in sleeping mountain, flirting clouds and dancing flowers is very descriptive and paints a clear and vivid picture of what you're describing. The language is gorgeous.
