Once again, you gave us great action and great descriptions. Not sure why part of in blue.
King Haven went over the numbers in his head. Weser hadn't factored in the roughly two hundred warriors defending the palace under Lord Flint. I also have at least two hundred archers and crossbowmen positioned on the roof with me. (not sure all of this should be in italics)

Great imagery with precise and easy to follow plot.
It reminds me of some of the battles I fought as a strong and fierce woman character with a plus two sword when I played dragons and dungeons. Hahaha... that was a long time ago.
Your war story is amazing. It must take a long time to write. Well done.

You are very intuitive! This five book series originated from a campaign world that I created for friends when we used to play D&D as teenagers. It was called The Kingdoms of Tronin! Too funny.
