I am so sorry for your loss, Ricky -- I know you and your son will meet again someday, but though this life is like the blink of an eye, it can seem so long when one is suffering.

You are in my prayers.

Doctor Ricky,
Love your use of Eye throughout this poem. Very clever and yes it is so difficult to release our grief. In any event we should not forget the good times and how they can make us smile. Keep going and have a great day.

Thanks again Barry and this one took some time.
The use of the word "eye" Replacing the letter "I".
I've used this a few times for emotional reasons and effectual presence.

I'm afraid you may have to die to stop the sadness, unless of course, there's some form of joy in between. You're doing sterling job this year, you're posting a lot, good going my friend, blessings Roy

A very poignant write that brought great sadness to heart.
-A teaspoon of sugar gets through the days of bitter sorrow.
-This poem is honest and evocative and gets to root of suffering, but also to healing, if only life's suffering could fit on a teaspoon... What relief could it be for the heart.

A rare review for a pure poem of emotion and reflection. All the best.
