The picture was absolutely great, Debi. I felt the joy in the wonderful blessings of your words. You are correct, for one day we need to forget the agony and defeat and remember Christ. Every Christmas since I was a young child we had a birthday cake addressed to Jesus and the youngest child got to blow out the single candle. It was our way of remembering Jesus and God. Very well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessings n Hugs!

Allie, I am so sorry that this is a little late. I got carried away with this one and writing others in the spirit of Christmas. So I found myself so backed up with thank you messages. Also my PT is everyday and takes so much stamina, but I am thankful for it. I truly appreciate your lovely comments for my poem, as you always seem to bring me joy.
You are so kind, my lovely friend. Love, Debi

I'm so glad you included the acknowledged that many feel pain for various reasons at this time of year: "I do know what it's like, when you are trying to forget Forget about the hurtful things, the sadness and depression" Many writers forget those ones you have addressed. Thank you.

Also my PT is everyday and takes so much stamina, but I am thankful for it. I do know what you mean, and that is why I truly try to think of nothing negative around this time of year. However that doesn't work well all the time. I pray that you find your joy this season. I truly appreciate your lovely comments for my poem, as you always are so kind.

This is a sweet poem of love and joy for the Christmas season. I also love sharing the joy and peace of our Savior's birth. Guess I need to get busy and write a Christmas poem. Thanks for sharing yours. Blessings. Carol

Merry Christmas, Debi. Your poem is lovely reminder as to what the season is all about, as well as an olive branch to those who may be hurting. Well done.

good moving poem about your Christian faith. It shows up in everything you do. I have a problem with many so-called Christians particularly evangeliticals who support the former President who could be the anti-Christ in my humble opinion

I do agree that Trump's ego was incredibly inflated, but I think if truth be told, we'd find out how really crooked the administration is now. I am amazed by anyone can sit in church on Sunday and sing, oh how we love Jesus, only to support killing of babies the rest of the week. Sorry about that speech which wasn't meant towards you at all. And I do appreciate your very kind words my friend. And I treasure your friendship, Jake. So thank you again. I am just not a fan of our current president. However, I am a fan of you my friend, so thanks again.

Beautiful! I so wish that people could feel the joy of our Lord and the warmth of the season all year round instead of once a year. Life would be so much more rewarding to everyone.
Smiles and hugs, Carol

Thank you so much Teri. This I wrote for the last club event. Whenever I get a notification about the events I check it out and I absolutely loved this last prompt. So I wrote this because at the moment, I was in between Thankfulness and Joy. It must have been on Black Friday. Lol. I sure hope I have some of each everyday of the year. I know I have a lot more now that I have you and others in my life that truly give so much joy. Thank you for your kind words and for the joyful stars. They are beautiful, but of course not in comparison to the one star that was shining on Christmas Eve. Love you to pieces Teri and thank you again.

You have expressed the true meaning of Christmas in this beautiful and festive poem. The season is especially joyful when you share the meaning of the birth of Christ and the love He showers on us. This poem was a delight to read as it lifted my spirit, putting me in a holiday mood. Your artwork paired perfectly.
