Thank you for sharing this club entry with us. The package is perfect, the artwork, the colored font, and the words. I know from another poem a group of crows are called a murder, but I am struggling with that. LOL

What a stunning presentation.
All the stated requirements for a Haiku are perfectly presented.
Thanks for attaching the requirements for this form.
Definitely worthy of a six so I've attached a virtual for you.

Oh, that is a well known group name. Dean used to use the "murder of crows" phrase a lot in his poems. You made it even more ominous with the "blood red sunset" that "bleeds over the roadkill." Those crows will clean up!

Yes, that's how I learned a group of crows is a murder. I love it but I try to not over do it. Classic Haiku masters wrote about crows often. They are intriguing and very smart birds. We have a lot around here. I told Atticus the group name, and when we go on walks he will scream at them, "you are a murder" haha. Atticus is very funny. Yesterday I was watching him while his mom and dad went on a date and when a package delivery man came to the door, he told him his mom and dad went on a date LoL his mom and dad are professional comedians so he got it from them.
Thank you very much, big sister.
Love,
Marival ❤️

Gypsy, I really think Poe would have liked this haiku. It has several gothic elements: the bleeding sunset, the road kill, and that "murder" of crows. I also really like picture you chose illustrate this poem. Rod

Yes we have so many roadkill here, all sorts of wild animals, kangaroos, wallabies, foxes, even koalas, it's carnage, and we do have crows too. Beautifully written Gypsy, blessings Roy

I love the term murder of crows, they murder my peace, I murder their piece. You did an excellent poetic job of quieting their disruptive noise. Thankyou. Kate xx

Another stunning contribution! The strong imaragery of red, blood, murder and death stands stark against the almost humorous word choice "roadkill". Love the creative play on murder of crows. Clever! Excellent presentation.

Gypsy,
A very nice presentation for your Haiku club entry. Do like your connection with the crow collective and your phrasing in your first two lines. Of course, I like your b- and r-letter alliterative flourishes.
