The second paragraph should say (on) FanStory, not (in). Other than that, it is perfect and shows excellent writing skills. I make many errors, too, and I have been at it for a while. Best of luck in the contest.

Keep at it, and don't forget to promote whenever you can. Promotion increases the number of reviews and reviews are important, they give you a much broader idea of your impact on those who read your work.

The tone is one of sincerity and gratitude. The diction is enthusiastic and also self-questioning. There is an attractive modesty and honesty in the writer's self-assessment. Some lines are a little forced. Reading a poem out loud often helps with the rhythm and structure.
