This poem really touched my heart. The pain of grief is all consuming.
You are correct in saying "for those who don't understand no explanation is possible".
Time supposedly heals all wounds they say. I'm not so sure.
The person who is grieving wears the mask of deception.
My heart goes out to anyone who is grieving.
Perhaps having faith can ease it somewhat but not totally.
