I like how you slipped in the Covid-19 reality to place this story in a current timeline. It's good that Ohmie's mom thought of going out to eat but I would think at his current health state, he wouldn't have much of an appetite.

Right. It was just the idea of it that excited him.
(But I am stretching the limits of abilities of a stage four sufferer.)

Feeling sorry for Ohmie and his mother, both of them concerned about the father/husband, and that things are spiralling out of control, and feeling helpless. Mum is very emotional now, understandably. Must be heading to the climax now, I think.

Poor mom - she's worried about Ohmie dying, and she's worried about her husband dying. Still, going out of this world with Swiss chocolate on your plate can't be all bad:-)

Travelling in foreign lands during the pandemic wouldn't have allowed much leeway in which to get around, particularly in Ohmie's conditional, also Ohmie has a beretta. They still haven't heard from Ohmie's dad. Beautifully written Wayne, blessings Roy

Ohmie has written another good chapter. I'm glad he found a "grandmother" to populate his short life. This chapter is a little slower than some, without a "big event." But I suppose spy work is like that. Keep 'em coming.
