LOL! What a funny poem, especially trying to envision a smashed Santa. It also has a moral! I was able to identify 3 beats of meter in Lines 1, 2, and 5, and 2 beats of meter in Lines 3 and 4. Well done!

Well, it seemed Santa had a but too much celebrating, Boogie.
I enjoyed your contest entry; The animated image was perfect.
Great job with the limerick style. Your words flowed smoothly
and were filled with great imagery.

Making us chuckle with a little holiday wine. lol 'Gotta love a little holiday cheer! (Good thing he didn't give the reindeer beer!) Speaking in poems again... Oh dear! I'd best get off-a here...

This is a Holiday Limerick Contest entry about Santa's terrible driving abilities!
I hope he got a ticket?
Not the Willy Wonka one he doesn't deserve any more candy canes!

This is a great holiday limerick! Funny, catchy, brightly presented. I would consider dropping "but" I feel like it flows better as "his sleigh he crashed and Dasher was dashed". Love it and hope you do well!!
