Beautiful. So sweet, so true. I am already dreaming of spring and it is not even winter. Beautiful illustration, only one thing, the middle line was just a bit difficult to read. After the cold of winter, we all await the promise of spring.
Be well friend!

Thanks for sharing about the sweet cicely plant. It looks like several other herbs I know. The leaves look like geranium roberticus.
I like that the seeds have "hearts full of spring" and await blooming even as winter storms begin.
We had winter windstorms last night and lost power for 12 hours.

oh, no, are you okay? I never experienced a winter windstorm, I hope I'll never will. We had a couple of earthquakes, they are pretty scary.
Thank you very much for taking the time and effort to read and review my poem, Big Sister. (*+*) hugs xoxox

Earthquakes are scarier! Always have an emergency plan. I lived in CA for ten years...

This Chapter was well scented and great artwork.
A Journey from Winters Regrets to Springs new seed.
Rich in Theme and Imagery.
It also, read well and Flowed well with No Grammar.

Our Indigenous friends used many plants as herbal medicines. They probably had it correct way before their time. Thank you for sharing this complete package with us. I enjoyed all of it.

I love this poem that is full of hope in the end. It started from the middle transition. We just had a snow storm today, the first one this winter. I'm looking forward to skiing next week in our lake condo. I have already skied twice this winter on manmade snow. Spring and mountain air does sound good.
Excellent.

I like your tanka poem- beautiful picture presentation- good notes information -
Suggest- 'winds' herald 'winter'/ winters round the bend - more than one winter- when to 'where' sweet... good job Hug

Your tanka is like a split screen on TV. On one we're seeing raging winds heralding Winter's arrival. On the other we see a sprig of cicely in Spring. The seasonal cycle is nicely shown. Rod

Chilling!
Dang you are so very good at this poetry game. The picture is the cherry on top of your delicious alphabet sundae. Tastefully created with fantastic coloring.
I really enjoyed this one. It is a six star all day long for me and I very, very, (did I mention very) rarely give sixes to anything this short. It's a statement to your brilliance, Thank you for sharing your talents Master Poet!
