Great story. Talk about being on the edge of your seat, I about fell off of mine. If I were grandpa, that story would be told as a prelude to Thanksgiving dinner every year.

Lol. Yep, I'm sure he's most likely told it a few times. Thank you for the great review and generous stars, Kaiku. I really appreciate it, friend.

A very interesting story and entertaining story. It was well-narrated and the action was well described and easy to imagine. I could imagine Grandpa regaling this to grand-kids. Great work in 350 words.

Great story.
Quick suggestion:
I was at my friend, Brad's, house when his grandparents
were in town.

Wow! That's a really cool story, Ron! I love the picture you chose to go with it. That tiger looks totally fierce! I can't imagine having a grandpa that was shot out of a cannon! That's exciting. This story was really fun to read.

Thank you for the great review, Susan. I guess someone had to be shot from it for the sake of entertainment. Lol. Circuses were a lot more daredevilish back then. I really appreciate the stars, Susan. I'm glad you liked the piece.

Wow, quite a story. I had to check twice whether this was listed as fiction or non-fiction! It is true!
One accident triggers a series of mishaps.
This is truly what one would not expect for a remembrance of someone's grandparents, so it should be a contender.
Very well done.
Best wishes,
Mary

Love it! There's a beginnining, middle and end, there's plenty of action, feelings are absent. True? Of course! Very real for him, and he has the scars to prove it. Brilliant.

I can't see, but make sure you entered it as nonfiction. I have been disqualified instantly for not putting mine in the 'appropriate' category.

This is a beaut of a tale, with tremendous action and description. Why have you classed it as fiction when the prompt says true? [I'd hate you to be eliminated on a technicality - be careful, please]. Kate xx

Thank you for the great review, Kate. I changed it to non-fiction so there wasn't any confusion. I'm glad you liked my little grandparent story. I really appreciate it, Kate.
