Thank you for this verse, Joan. I didn't know that the pandas had been upgraded and I am so glad to read about it. Well done on all points with this lovely verse!!

Hello, Joan,
LoL I love panda bears, they are so cute. Bamboo of pandas is a perfect name. Your lines are grammatically connected and flow well. I would make a small change.
suggestion...
It's good to see (a) "belongs in the second line".
(a) "add" bamboo of pandas again~
Haiku doesn't have to be a 5/7/5

Love the picture captured here. Not much to add save for well done as written and more in your thoughtfulness and love for the endangered. ..............................

I am assuming that a bamboo of Pandas is a classification of the panda species and that you are playing on the word bamboo. This is fun and playful and I dearly love pandas as much as you do. This is well written in a short span of a few lines. The subject is dear to my heart as I believe in conservation and protecting pandas and other endangered species. Thank you for sharing your abbreviated poem for me to read.

I was told bamboo is the term used for a group of pandas. As a pod of dolphins or a murder of crows.
Thanks for the review, Jesse.

This was my assumption all along, Joan.
I love pandas and bamboo of pandas even more so.

One of the reasons is that there favourite foods is diminishing, also they tend to be lone animals, so it's hard to get them to mate. We've had two in the Adelaide Zoo, and they refuse to mate in the mating season, beautifully written Joan, blessings Roy

Thanks, Roy. According the the internet the United States has pandas in the Memphis Zoo, The Atlanta Zoo and the National Zoo in Washington D.C. A baby was born in the National Zoo in 2020 and twins were born in Atlanta Zoo in 2016.
