Your first lines make a lovely little poem in themselves and the full verses fill in a picture of the change of season from autumn to winter. A lovely read June for this constanza challenge. Cheers

This is unique, June..
I don't recall seeing this form.
Does it have a name?
You would need a lot of rhyming
words to build on a poem such
as this one. Well done! Nancy:)

An excellent Constanza depicting the glories of winter, which really should be everyone's perception really, all seasons have their own unique function, and work wonderfully well together, beautifully written June, great rhyming and first line function, well done, blessings Roy

Thank you! There is something special about each season. We just need to embrace each one.

Every season has its own beauty. We might as well embrace the winter. It will be beautiful when snow turns everything a glittering white. I enjoyed your poem.

It won?t be long before we see tender buds again in the spring - meanwhile, we can just sit back and sip a cup of hot cocha while watching the snow fall.

You described the bleak mid winter here June where everything remains dormant until spring and it is this period of time I find difficult, but you managed to salvage a modicum of hope here, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts. We?ll get through the bleakness and see our gardens come to life again!

The Constanza is a poem form I am unfamiliar with. You have perfectly described that "Betwixt & Between" season we are now. And you have employed that challenging rhyme scheme with ease. Some great imagery, especially in stanza 3. Well done, June!
