Wow, your faith and love of Him shine through every line of this magnificent poem. If that last stanza doesn't inspire belief, I do not know what would (except Him working in that stubborn heart)!

This beautifully evocative and drenching to read. Emotive, powerful and descriptive word choices and imagery. Second stanza "lighten" I feel should be "lightens". Some stanzas end with full stops other don't perhaps finish them all the same? What a wonderful perspective you portray of our living God!

Thank you for the five-star review and for pointing out my error which I immediately corrected. I appreciate the other comments, but at 89 I just write what I feel. I am embarrassed to admit I haven't the vaguest idea what you mean by 'full stops.' I would appreciate it if you would explain that to me. Thank you, Pen

Thank you Ricky for the review and comments. At 89, I don't understand the correct way to present my writings, I just write what is on my heart. I do review my work before I post it, but I guess I don't really know what I should be looking for. I enjoy sharing what is on my heart, but maybe I should look elsewhere because this is all I have to offer.
