The author's words are delightful to read! Thank you for the author's
notes - they speak volumes! I thought about if we just look around we
can see the many gifts God has given us. Finding joy in giving gifts
as the author states can be a way of life! The poem flows and connects

Thank you very much Harmony. Yes, our delight in God's good gifts, and our thanks to Him, should be how we choose to live, and when it is we have delight also in giving gifts to others, and then seeing their delight.

The practice of gift giving I believe started with God when He gave His only begotten Son's life for us. What's better than that? We, as His followers can do the same by the simple gifts, we distribute and willingly share to others. This is the message that you send to the readers in this piece. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you. A thoughtful review. I was actually thinking along the lines of me as God's child, each day opening His gifts of life, salvation, His presence, health etc and choosing to live with Him, and delight in His ongoing goodness. Then I thought, yes, and He delights in the fact that we can likewise give gifts and blessings to others we meet. Thank you again.

We are God's children and can delight in His good and perfect gifts each day. If humans could just do likewise with sharing His blessings... It would be so much better. Thank you for your lovely review. I am still praying for you, especially as Christmas approaches. Sometimes family dynamics make it overly stressful.

I liked your poem a lot. I try to find gifts that the people who receive them will enjoy. How much more does God give us gifts, not only of the very things we need to sustain life, but things that delight. This is an excellent 5-7-5 poem. I choose to live the same way. You could also use "give" as the final word since it's all about giving. I take time to thing about each person I select a gift for and give it with love.

Thank you for sharing this poem with us. I enjoyed reading. My youngest two granddaughters are coming for the week after Christmas. Their parents want Christmas at home for them. I understand. Yesterday my car battery died so I took it in, after getting it jumped, and got a new battery. While it was getting fixed, I did some shopping and have these two little one's Christmas shopping completed. I would never have gone out shopping on Black Friday unless I was forced to. I can't wait to see their faces as they open their presences. Thank you for sharing.
