This is an example of sharing the Gospel in such a way as to invite belief and not insight badgering. Your style is intriguing and kind. Great style and flow. Thanks for writing this. I'm voting for you.

I apologize for being so incredibly late with this response. For the last year and a half to two years, I have been very inconsistent with my appearance on FanStory. It doesn't diminish my appreciation for this tribe, but I have had a number of tasks that have kept me extremely busy. You are most welcome for the review. I appreciate the joy I had reading and reviewing their work.

Yes, amen! Your poem makes such important points IMO because they answer what non-believers often use to challenge Christians, the first being we are not perfect. We only try our best = "Best foot forward, I say," says it. We live by grace, not OUR good deeds, and non-believers are always looking at any flaw as an excuse not to believe. "Look what so-and-so did, or said, and she/he calls himself a Christian." And this -- "He never left our side," Everyone, at some time or another, feels alone. There is such comfort in knowing we are NOT alone, ever!
So much else is said often, too, but what I believe needs to be stressed is what you have written = "Get ready, friends, okay, To accept blessings His way," << It is the surrendering of will that makes life sweet because we follow in His footsteps.
Well done! Good luck in the contest!

A great poem about how Jesus is always there for us. Well written especially about His light being so strong and lighting our path. Blessings be to you also.
