Short chapter compared to what you wrote earlier. I had to return to the notes to see who Joseph and Ruth are, the couple in this story; are they also involved with Alan? (Are they jewelry shop owners with Alan)?

No, Alan is a lawyer. He wants to work at the same law firm Ali's family owns. That's why he wanted to marry her. Thank you for the kind review.

It also, read well and flowed well with no Grammar Issues.
The Adjective and Objective Contents were both Excellent and Exceptional while Descriptive Measures Aligned Perfectly.

There is a certain satisfaction, in seeing Alan get what was coming to him, although it is just a story. I get wrapped up in the characters, you make them come to life.
It is hard to heal from being deceived, we tend to blame ourselves for being so gullible.

He gives her that hug, he leans over and kisses her; we see he is completely swept away. Alex comes across as the victim of more intrigue here, but we have seen how tough she can be and we get a sense she is ready to move on. estory
