I like the writing skill you display in bringing to life this fantastic novel. The well-written descriptions of the weaponry and battlefield help the reader visualize the implements of war and the engagements. I like the ribbon on pain and blood loss written at strategic points to advance and support the storyline. The pacing is well done to keep the reader involved with the fate of each kingdom. Hmm, well this was a detailed and long 'told' battle, with lots of moving parts. Perhaps too many, that makes 'feeling' it (the fear, risk, loss, emotion) low, as opposed to following a person in the thick of the battle from a singular POV.
Overall a well written chapter.
