Talk about a naughty letter to Santa! Someone isn't getting any presents. My goodness girl... what HAS been going on with you??? If this reflects the life you lead, you need a serious vacation. Do find a pretty place to sit and breathe for a while, take in the beauty of the world, away from the hustle and bustle of people. You'll feel better.

Talk about a naughty letter to Santa! Someone isn't getting any presents. My goodness girl... what HAS been going on with you??? If this reflects the life you lead, you need a serious vacation. Do find a pretty place to sit and breathe for a while, take in the beauty of the world, away from the hustle and bustle of people. You'll feel better.

Thank you for the uplifting words. I am very blessed in my life and quite happy which makes it even more worrisome to some that I write such horrible things. To me it helps navigate the negative so I can put my best foot forward in the world.

Potent. Pungent. Unapologetic. You give voice to our repressed dark side-- true horror!
I loved the dark twist on the Christmas theme.
I liked the contrast between "bound and gagged" and "my intent is not to be cruel".
But I felt that the words "empty plates" and "go hungry" were somewhat weak as compared to "bound and gagged" -- hence somewhat diluting the horror effect for me.

Okay that is good to know. I can see how those are seen as weaker. I wonder if I moved them before the "bound and gagged" if it would add more punch. Thanks for the idea.

Well, I'm not sure Santa will give you this one. But, I sure this person can make part of it come true with a little work. This is a nice free verse. It is good to read something different from the norm.

I think you're better off asking God for these petitions, I've seen Father Christmas, I caught him delivering presents into my room at about 2.00 am Christmas morning when I was seven, Santa Claus is my dad, but I'm sorry, he died thirty years ago, well done, good luck, blessings Roy
