This sounds just like a newspaper headline. It is very clever and I presume that hyphenated words are OK for a six-word poem. It might be worth checking with the organisers though just to be on the safe side. I hope it is OK as I really like this poem as it is very descriptive.

Thank you, Celyn I appreciated your comments. I was having misgivings about "one-eyed" so you just gave me a gentle nudge and pushed me to change it to "cockeyed"
