Oh wow, this is a wonderful tribute to man's best friend, and I love how you compare them Mother Teresa -- very clever. I see how this is a contest winner! Congratulations!

Congratulations on your well deserved win. This poem is absolutely beautiful. I love dogs because of the joy they bring and their loyalty. I'm amazed that you saw the correlation between dogs and Mother Teresa. Wow! Very imaginative.

Ah yes, Mother Teresa everywhere is a beautiful concept and this is written well about the idea that dogs are not only companions but also offer gifts of compassion. Thanks for choosing the comparison of the two of them. I have always loved the stories I have read about Mother Teresa and loved this poetic choice! Thanks for sharing this lovely tribute to dogs!

Good morning, Wendy. I hope you are well. I am doing fine and hope to be walking today down the hallway with the help of a four-wheeled walker. Wish me luck!

I wish the world cold have a majority of Mother Teresas, especially in political arenas throughout the world. Personification is great, your poem reads smoothly, and your poem sparks the reader into making this world a better place. Thank you.

Nicely done, and so very true, every (rhyming) word. I'd never thought of dogs in this way (well, or vice versa; I'd never thought of Mother Theresa that way, either) but you made your point well!

Terrific entry for the contest.

This poem, Mother Teresa Everywhere!, surprises me as I see it is less about the person and more about man's best friend. I'm glad that we have dogs that we can trust and like.

Thank you Bill. The idea is to "Write a poem that turns any animal you'd like into a human we would recognise", so I feel that it meets that requirement, by comparing their qualities and characteristics. Well, I certainly hope so! She is world-famous, so everyone knows her. Hoping for the best anyway ....

Mother Theresa is the Twentieth Century's icon for generosity and love. There will always be in this world those who need love and generosity beyond what can be wrung from the fray, and this poem, "Mother Theresa everywhere," effectively compares Mother Theresa's love to the love a dog has, indiscriminatingly. This makes for an interesting analogy, and it honors the remarkable powers of recognition that dogs possess. If Mother Theresa is connected to Heaven, maybe dogs are too. Many dogs deserve this outcome!

This is a beautifully written poem comparing the behavior of dogs to Mother Teresa. You have misspelled her name. Just go in quickly and change it. It doesn't change the content of your poem.
Your text is a great size. Your spacing of text in the poem box is also great. The message you give in your verses I agree with because I have a loving, loyal 14-year-old dog, and have read lots about this special lady. There was a discussion about granting her sainthood. It would be a nice earthly tribute, but she already has that status in heaven. Good luck in the contest.

Of course, I respect her memory and any writer that shines a light on this amazing woman too much to not tell you. You are welcome.

This work has reached the exceptional level

Dogs have the one thing needed for people, their total love. All you have to do is look at the service dogs in your area. What a wonderfully written poem.

Good luck in the contest!
Have a great day, and God bless.

What an interesting and unique comparison. Bet that it has never been done before.

This line is a perfect description for our canine companions :
Unconditional love given offered them hope.

Great work!
( would Mother Theresa have been a doodle if she were a dog?).

Thank you for a super review. Dogs have that same non-judgmental acceptance, love, loyalty and kindness as that very compassionate lady. I?m glad you liked this one.
