Yikes. The change in format threw me off. Is it the Advanced Editor shaking things up or are you intentionally changing? I rather like the traditional chapter style used up until now.
Typical goons, huh? Pay enough and show enough "subtle" force whilst crooning of friendship and the world will lay at your feet.
Sandy's, unfortunately caught in the middle here. I wonder how MUCH she will reveal?

This is another excellent chapter. Your words between Sandy and Peter created tension between Sally and Peter. I cannot wait for the next chapter. I do not see any way to improve this chapter.

I've had a few close brushes with his type thanks to my children's father and now Matt has a questionable person investing in his latest film. My skin crawls when I let my mind wonder if he's safe. I don't know if this guy is all hype or if it's true. Scary!!

Poor Sandy she knows his father killed people, and the towering figure of Bruiser, isn't much help to that either. The fact that Rudy was beaten so badly, who's Bennie's dad, somehow Costello knows the diamonds are around somewhere, beautifully written Carol, blessings Roy

I think Sandy has experience a tough life but she still fears the power Peter Costello can wield especially when he wants something like the diamonds.

Yes, Sandy, though born in a tough area and street-wise. that life has not given her the knowledge to deal with the evil gangsters. Peter enjoys the power his life gives him, but he also likes his charming ways.

This is all the more disconcerting because he is pretending to be friendly while being menacing and threatening. She has a sense of integrity but fear will undoubtedly cause her to reveal what she doesn't want to. Hopefully she can lead him off the track and give some false scent to follow. Peter Costello is the charmer. He doesn't really want to be like his father, but it's the life he was handed and he enjoys the power. Sandy knows she is walking a thin line with him.
