This is a very good informative piece. I was terrified to speak in High School, but the US Marine Corps kicked that right out of me and fast!
Nice work and thanks for sharing!

Hello Maria,
Well, this is an interesting and informative post. I've only had to speak publicly on a few occasions, and didn't do it well. I've no intention of ever speaking publicly again but if I were to have to, I'd look up this post. I can't sing and if I ran with pebbles in my mouth, no doubt I would end up with a stomach full of them, so I guess I'd have to try your suggestion.
Have a blessed day.

Very interesting, and I've actually since evidence of your information. A country singer by the name of Mel Tillis would stutter on almost every word when he tried to talk, but when he sang, not a miscue. Thanks for sharing.

Very good Maria, as a singer, I understood everything you said, but the last piece of speech making I made was like singing, suddenly I could "speak on my feet" which I didn't have before, that's the difference, scales are normal for me, articulation is too, I can write well, why not speak well. Using the diaphragm should be normal with singing, public speaking and one on one should also be "normal", beautifully written, blessings Roy
