I think it is a lovely story with many life lessons for everyone. So many of us are sad or unhappy about the things we don't have but learning to enjoy what we do makes life so much more enjoyable. I'd give you a six if I had one left.

Well, I made sure to save a six for Miranda since I haven't had one to reward some mighty fine writing over the course of the last couple weeks. But this story that you say may not be fantastic, sure is to me. True or not, I'm glad the two of you could take a few minutes for each other. I could sit there in the park every day watching my surrounds and chatting with nice people. Thanks for sharing.

What a great story to impress on the reader the value of perspective - closed fist or open hand - and also the need for genuine gratitude. I thought your story was excellent, vivid and clealy told. Very impressive!

I might print this review off and frame it. I'm glad to be back. I think I got so wrapped up in standings and stars the last time and I was really getting into my artwork as well.
