Good luck in the contest. Your descriptions of what is going on in your garden set a serene tone. I can almost see it and I can certainly understand why you find it a peaceful refuge. I feel the same way about my little garden although I never seem to be able to spend as much time there as I would like.

It sounds like a lovely garden. I've tried outdoor gardening several times and I never had a lot of success. I'm great with my indoor plants and they seem to flourish. I'm not the gardener my grandmother was, but I sure enjoy the lovely plants I have. Good luck in the contest.

Glad you enjoyed my story and thanks for taking time to review it. Indoor gardens can be just as peaceful and I can assure you I am not as good as my late father was in generating a serne setting. But I give it a go. In fact only really got into it after he passed.

Thanks for taking the time to read and review my story. A Will Wag Tail is a small bird, a litlle larger than a sparrow but with a fiesty character and fearless in defending its territory.They provide a lot of entertainment when you are able to witness their antics.

This is a very well written short story about your garden. It makes me think of our garden that my husband has planted so many years. That is a wonderful place to walk into and see the marigolds, peppers and whatever he has planted. Watch the cats as they walk on the edge of the concrete blocks and anxiously awaiting harvest time of the little bit of vegetables planted, so we can share with others. Thank you for sharing. Teri
