Hi Debi, your poem is filled with good descriptive writing and sensory appeal. I think that everyone loves big puffy clouds, especially ones that are a work of art within themselves. Of special note:

Even though we're sinners, God so often tries to please us
(He loves all His children--right or wrong--young or old.
We are all part of his fold.)

Beautiful photos. Good rhyming. A pleasure to read. This poem made me smile. Well done. Keep the blue waters flowing. Xo. Your TSOTU

Awe Margaret, what sweet comments about my poem. I appreciate that you are always so kind dear tsotu. I was actually kind of surprised that it is here, since I thought that the clubs were separate. Anyway, now I know. Thanks again for all of your lovely comments my lovely friend.

You did an awesome job, Debi, expressing your thoughts and
feelings about the beautiful clouds. The font size and choice
worked well. Your thoughtful, meaningful response highlighted
that those clouds could've only been created by the Creator himself.
Your words flowed smoothly and created great imagery. There's
no doubt those clouds meant something, though do we know?
What I do know is they were beautiful and should make everyone
wonder as to their message and creation.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

I like that you take that cloud horse picture and apply it to the Scripture foretelling that the Lord will come riding on a white horse someday and He will appear in the clouds. Something we can all look forward to. I like your thought of writing our praises to Him in Heaven!

Thanks so much Helen. I appreciate you telling me the things that you liked about my poem. I wrote it as soon as I saw the pictures, thinking that I was just going to write a fast poem for the club, I was shocked when I was done, that it was on FS as well. It was my first time writing one for there so I didn't know. However, I wanted the feelings about the picture to show in my poem. So I didn't really change or edit much, but that is the fastest I have ever written and posted in about an hour. Sometimes I do feel God leading my writing, and I love that feeling. Thanks again my sweet friend.

That's exactly what Teri says she does - she writes what the Spirit leads her to write. Yes, all those clubs are FS clubs so everything you enter there will be available to all of your fans to review.

That is double the blessings. I will definitely try to do more with the club when I get the messages. Thanks again Helen! 😘

Oh, I do love a good cloud show. Watching them change seamlessly from one shape to another. The sky becoming a moving picture. This was a delightful poem. Just reading it made my blood pressure go down. Lol. So, thank you for that. Great job as usual, Debi. Gretchen

Me too Gretchen! My grandson and I found so many things in the clouds, then as he got older he found faces in trees and what a wonderful thing imagination can be. Thanks my lovely friend for your very kind review and words. You are a sweetheart!

To lay on the ground and stare up into the sky and try to find pictures made in the clouds, was a game we children played at play time at school, on a nice day, that is! Those clouds you have shown us here, are awesome, and could only have been painted by the ONE artist in Heaven. This is a lovely poem, my friend, bringing back a lot of lovely memories. Well done! I hope your health is still improving? Love you lots, Sandra xx

Awe, thank you so very much Sandra! I did it with my grandkids. I have one who did it with me for years. Then he was the one who would create Dr Seuss type poems w me, where I would start one line and he would do the next. He would rather be creative w grandma than hunting and fishing w the other boys. He is 12 and I can see him as a writer someday.
You are always so sweet and I appreciate your very lovely words. It is always so nice to hear from you and have you review my posts. So appreciated!
Thank you again my dear friend.

Debi,

I love this one. Those clouds are spectacular. Although psychologists tell us that it is a quirk of the human brain (pareidolia) to see shapes of animals and people in cloud formations and other things, I say, why can't God produce such things both for entertainment and reassurance that he is paying attention to all the details.

Your poem, as always, reminds us to remember the promise of what is to come.

Sue

Thank you for sharing this with us. Yes, God loves us so much. I feel He often gives us signs to remind us of this love. These clouds are an example. He doesn't want us to forget.

This poem is gorgeous, Debi! The photos are stunning and make you wonder, are these signs? Your words capture the artwork perfectly. We can only hope, of all things seen, that this is not a hoke. Loved it all! Best, JohnC

Awe, thank you so very much John. I really don't think those clouds are real, and maybe just an artist who made them look that way. Regardless I changed my poem a little to say that, but to also say that if they were real then it old be a divine display. Anyway you are always so sweet and I appreciate your very lovely words. It is always so nice to hear from you and have you review my posts. So appreciated!
Thank you again my dear friend.

Where did the days go when as children we would lay beneath the skies and find semblances of things we recognized? When was the last time an adult took a time to search the sky and be mesmerized by his artwork.

You know Tom, I have a grandson who gets teased a lot because he is a little bit of a dreamer in that way. (He takes after grandma) Since he was a little boy, we would lay on a blanket and find pictures in the clouds and then we started to find faces in the trees and he is one that when I am writing my poetry for a children's story, we love to do a Dr Seuss like thing where I will say the first line and he will come back with a silly rhyme for it and then we will keep doing it until we have something written . Of course there is a lot of editing after, but he would be happy creating something rather than hunting and fishing with the other boys. He is now 12 years old and still loves his time with grandma because he can be himself. He did try youth deer hunting but told me after in secret that he was happy that he didn't see anything because he knows he couldn't kill anything. So children should be allowed to be who God meant them to be. I told my son that and since he has never teased him again for having his head in the clouds. And I thank you my dear friend for listening to that story, but you started it, LOL, with your lovely review. Thank you for the kind words Tom. You are the best!!!
