Unfathomable that is really what he is .We mere mortal can never understand him fully . Your poem says it all. He is there in every atom of beings. your deep faith comes out in the poem.

God made us and we are made of every fibre of His love. We belong to Him in every way, if man doesn't believe in Him, no matter because god owns every fibre of our creation - used or rejected, the door is always open.

Reverential indeed. To have love and faith is a gift for sure, especially in these crazy times we're living in. The picture made me first think this was more of a new-age kind of poem, but the capital Y and of course commentary helped me to see that the narrator is speaking of God.
Nice job.

*sigh* Oh, how very much this resonates with me, how unworthy I feel, yet too, I still find questions arising, like how humility flies in the face of loving oneself, of not allowing abuse.
Did Jesus not allow it? The most horrific abuse imaginable, and yet we are taught to walk away from anyone trying to mistreat us... At the same time as we try to live emulating our Saviour...
And whenever I try to discuss these ideas I am met with the 'perfect' answer -- the Serenity Prayer, and/or there are mysteries we are not meant to solve.
My answer to that is that everything we are is God-created, including the brain that raises these questions... *sigh*
A beautiful, evocative poem, Roy.

Roy...
Your poem is a great exploration of the unfathomable and supreme nature of God. If God is comprehensible--a god we can contain, grasp, understand, a god who is not omniscient (all-knowing), omnipotent (all-powerful), omnipresent (not constrained by geography), eternal (not contained by time), immutable (unchanging), holy, just, compassionate, personal, and loving, as your poem suggests, would such a god command respect and be worthy of our worship? I think not!
Great theme. Well written. Thanks for sharing.
Blessings...

I'm glad you are not writing in seclusion. I liked your poem. It moved me as I read through it. The reference to 1John 4:9-10 were clear, and this read like a heartfelt poem to me. Thank you for sharing.

This cuts very deep. Love is everything you said and more. It carries us to the stars, it cures and rejuvenates. Yet no philosopher or poet could explain this phenomenon.
Great imagery and presentation, An excellent message.
