I liked the art choice and the color scheme first of all.

Amen! And yes, life changes everyday and those changes can be hard but if we trust and look around, we find we have many things to give thanks to our gracious God for. Best wishes in the contest.
Just FYI you have 9 syllables in the first line and you can easily fix by changing "I am" to "I'm"

exceptional comments! Thank you also for the suggestion. Blessed
is an interesting word - when I looked it up before I wrote the poem it said blessed is one or two syllables. It said if it is a verb 1syllable!
I am fine about using I'm if it is 2! I think it is being used as a verb but I am not sure. I would appreciate your opinion on this.

Oh, I wasn't referring to "blessed" - that's one syllable here, it's 'very' that's two. "I am blessed to have so very much" so I still count 9 syllables.
