When we were one - You cannot let go of the beautiful memories, and each time an event recalls that time, you stop to ponder it again. It can be a joyful time when it happens.

Another fine poem, Gypsy, and that picture made me thirsty for beer, and reminds me I'm pissed that all that money I spent over the years to get that dizzy feeling was wasted; all along, I could have just suffered a head injury and I'd get it for free!

I like the wistful feel of this autumnal tanka. And how lovely is that autumn breeze "as it meanders the path
we strolled " although the narrator implies that they are no longer one as autumn leads to the winter of their love...
