Lol!!! I wanted to give you
6 stars, but ran out of them
two days ago. My daughter
will ask a telemarketer what
their favorite color is, or she'll
say, "News Channel 13, how
can I help you?" at that point
they hang up. You've written
this so comically well.
Great penning. Blessings

Thank you. The story was inspired because my phone rings all day long. I'm on the no-call list, but it doesn't do much good. I just don't answer them.

Awesome! I so do wish I could do that at times. Instead I just don't answer the phone any more. Thank you for the chuckle. It felt great!

Hugs, Carol

Thank you. I don't answer the phone either. All those calls is what prompted me to write the story.

Loved every minute of it. Nowadays with caller ID and scam likely, the best thing to do is not answer, but after reading this, now I do want to answer, especially those pesky extend your car warranty people! Great job!!

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed the silly story. It was inspired by all those calls every day. I don't answer the phone unless I recognize the number either.

This dialogue-only piece was hilarious! I enjoyed it very much, and I got a chuckle out of it. Thanks for sharing this here, and best wishes to you.

Okay. I laughed out loud twice. This paragraph was the best:

I also have trouble with my liver; it shifts! I tell you, just bending over is an ordeal, and you know what else?"

A quick catch. The last paragraph ha "he he". Should be Hee hee. Or Tee Hee or Ha ha Just my two cents.

This is hilarious . I gave it a six cause it made me laugh. You are so very good!

Good Job! Funny and true. I 'm sure as it irritated most people from unsolicited callers that can ruin your day. Your character got a smile from every reader and maybe an idea for their next unsolicited call.

I adore this solution to the telemarketers constant drone, you certainly had me laughing here and I must try out this tactic next time I am called by an unwanted sales person, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

A great entry and also a 'manual' of sorts of how to deal with a telemarketer. The question of 'How are you today?" is suppose to be rhetorical. But for those with multiple health problems it's a chance to rehearse what they will tell the doctor!

Thank you. Nah, she was just pulling the telemarketer's leg, at least, that's what I was trying to convey. LOL

That is certainly one way to get rid of those annoying sales people. I get so many robo-calls that I've finally just quit answering if I don't recognize the number. Perhaps I'll try your method.
