This is another great and inspiring Tanka.
The artwork again is the same and it's also quite effective.
Well written again with no grammar issues and thanks for sharing.

LOL I knew if anybody could include all the senses it would you. It really wasn't challenge; I was just wondering. This is a beautifully written poem. I have never heard of natal plums. Will have to search them out.

Yes, I know you didn't challenge me. I didn't know how to explain it. Thank you very much for your time, kind review, and helpfull feedback.

You did cover all the senses in this poem. But even more than that, I like the powerful emotional images that you covered as well such as "rage" like "crashing waves" and " fierce grief of lost love."

I love the host of sensory images in this one and the desperate longing of the lover despite the thorns between them. Well done, and I hope all is well with you.

That second stanza of your tanka pair is a sensory delight--visual, scent, taste, sound, and touch. (I just read your author notes.) You have definitely achieved the use of all senses. Amazing description. Thanks for sharing your beautiful poem.
