A good entry to the monostich contest. The title adds to the poem. However, the text needs to be much larger. The text is dwarfed by the large visual. The visual fits well. Good luck in the contest.

This was something I think we can all relate to. I liked the visual of a very tired dad trying to keep his cool while sucking down egg nog. A lot of fun in this small poem. Great job. Gretchen

Thank you so much, Gretchen. With all that's going on in the world, we need plenty of humor. Thank
you for-the 5 stars and many
blessings to you.

This was really cute. I'm sure Santa gave the dad a healthy dose of spirits in that eggnog. Though, this really did get me to think about the efforts parents go through on Christmas Eve to get the presents assembled in time for Christmas morning. Must be a very sleepless night indeed.

Thank you, R.B., for reading
my one line humor poem.
I recall my father assembling
our bicycles on Christmas
Eve after us kids went to bed.
He didn't drink spiked eggnog but still handled it
well. Thank you for the 5
stars. Many blessings to you.
