Oh, that Ohmie, he's unstoppable and he doesn't know what he's getting himself into nor how long his body will hold up. But I particularly liked his convincing Mrs. Benoir. (Why not Mme Benoir?) I think that dialogue was particularly well done because you made it clear about what was said and the conversation that wasn't being spoken.

I have to laugh at " Boy, it was hard not to be a twit" as that really makes the teenager in Ohmie very realistic.

    lol.
Thank you for a great review.
I never thought about Mme (never knew how to abbreviate it, either)
I'm gonna do a 'change all'. Thank you.

The next time I get a chance to nominate a reviewer, you get it. No matter if I put it on one where all you say is "hello".

Well, at least a change all for onlhy Mrs. Benoir. Lol. Change-alls are dangerous.

Ohmie is very witty and clever - and quite a good actor too. I wonder how much Mrs Benoit really knows, but he seems to be getting away with his little scheme. Looking forward to more.

Wayne,

What a great chapter. Ohmie is taking charge. Nothing can keep a good Ohmie down, not even a Mrs. Benoir. I really enjoyed this one. I think I found one "oops."

Sue

"Surely, you understand," Mrs. Benoir. -- quotes after Benoir?

So now, Ohmie is venturing out on his own, taking charge of part of the case. You've done a great job of writing this, Wayne. I can visualize all of it and have concerns for Ohmie's health too. His excuse for leaving gave me a chuckle. He played it well.

One little spag: "Surely, you understand," Mrs. Benoir. - the closing quotation marks should be after Benoir.

This is a fine chapter in the best time of. Perhaps the best of the best times? I particularly liked the romantic invention, pretty good for a thirteen-year old? Sorry for the poor reward - it's the wrong time of the week as always. Kate xx

I like the chapters where you've focused on Ohmie, and you've really written him well in this chapter. Thinking like a teenage spy while outsmarting Mrs. Benoir.

Good chapter, Wayne!

I wish I could put Ohmie in every scene, but alas.... first person narrative and to keep Ohmie dying of cancer.
    Thank you for the review.
