All animals deserve a forever home and was nice of the nice lady to take you home to live with her. I am sure everyone has a soft for a three begged kitty.

Thank you. Blacky and his sister are alive and well today, and still live with me, Blacky's writer. He is a happy cat and a clown. We all love him.
    Hugs.

I like your story very much, it is well written from a cat's point of view.
So glad these kittens were rescued by someone who cares. We used to live in the country and were always getting stray cats.

Thank you. Blacky and his sister still live with me today. Blacky is a clown who loves playing poor crippled cat when company comes. Hugs.

This is a very precious and sweet story, but sad because they were dumped out first. You used great descriptive words and pretty imagery of the cat. Best wishes in the contest. love and blessings, Teri

This is a unique way of telling this story of Blacky, a cat rescue, and the eventual explanation for his having only three legs. Neat.

What a beautiful and moving story! Yes, life is now good, and I am so glad the kittens were found by someone who would live and care for them. Best wishes for your story in the contest.

Thank you. Blacky and his sister are still with me today. I had my doubts about a three-legged cat, but the vet convinced me they do fine. I have never been sorry. Blacky has enriched my life in so many ways.

I am so happy you have a heart of gold and rescued Blacky and her sister from near death. What happened to his sister? Maybe I don't want to know. Anyway, I loved this happy ending and that he wins extra lap time and treats for being a Tripod kitty!
Thank you for posting this lovable true story about Blacky and his adventures!

Thank you. Blacky and his sister are still living with me today. I see with hindsight, I should have worked that into Blacky's story. I appreciate your comments and the stars. Hugs

I can identify with some of this story. I had a Brussels Griffon who had only three legs as a result of being in a puppy mill. Maddie is featured in Be Wee With Bea Part 2. Maddie was a tough little trooper. She could move fast on those 3 little legs.

Thank you. Yeah, Blacky can go like a bat out of hell when he wants to. Yet, if I have company, Blacky often puts on his poor crippled cat routine to get attention. Hugs

Poor babies. They were lucky enough to be found by a caring person. My uncle once had a dog that was partially paralyzed and ran on a right front leg and left hind leg. She did as well as four-legged dogs.

Thank you. We had a dairy farm and folks thought it an excellent place to dump animals. I still have Blacky and his sister today. Hugs

I enjoyed reading this cat's story told in the first-person point-of-view. I am glad the story ended happily (even though the cat lost a leg). Thanks for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Thank you. That's first cat point of view, not first person. LOL. Blacky still resides with me as well as his sister. Hugs
