What a fearfully frolicsome poem. I enjoyed reading it a lot--maybe because it is wintertime and we all miss those spring and summer memories, and maybe and most definitely because you wrote so proficiently. The last line surely sums it all up in a fitting way to pay tribute to the bird's personality and the father's love of birds.

Clever and imaginative this one should win the contest for sure but I wonder when so many others stick out as well. I bet you took the picture yourself since you are such a fine photographer.
