Hey Kahpot, Glad to see you!
I see you, like me until just now, was thinking about Dromedary and Bactrian Camels. I couldn't remember the name of the Bactrian ones so I looked it up and found out a strange thing... there's a 3-hump Camel! It was spotted near the Saudi border on the Arabian Peninsula apparently and has been dubbed the Tribocus Camelus. Evolution abounds.

I'm glad to know that you are on the mend. I remember you wrote about that little one and his family when you were in the hospital. Have you been mending at home?
Enjoyed your camel poem and yes, they are able to go without water much longer than us humans. But they can drink a lot more, too! Best wishes in the contest!

This is a clever poem, and well presented. I don't know if exact syllables count, but your second line only has six syllables.
Also, you might want to revise this:

=>
only camels reign

Very good. Of course, you had me at 'hump'. Wasn't sure where this was going as it's just a typical older gentleman reading himself for a read. Ha Ha! BTW, You're at 5-6-5 Maybe something like. 'And the rivers do run dry'. The contest states 5-7-5. Someone might hand you a 4-star, but your cleverness will win out.
