The fresh breeze off the sea, along with the smooth taste of the cocktail, creates calm and also thoughtful atmosphere. We sit back and enjoy a beautiful moment.

I never thought about how a beach breeze would move the umbrella in a drink. Hmm, interesting. I don't drink so I've never experienced it. Thank you for sharing this Modern Haiku with us.

I like your modern haiku poem- excellent picture presentation- poem has a good modern word count and flows nicely- talking my language- no stranger to the beach bar-Aruba et al - summer breeze- sounds like you've there too! Lol Good Job AP

That's a nice setting and I like the relaxed feeling of the summer breeze causing the cocktail umbrella to glide. It shows that the narrator is just going with the flow.

    Thank you very much, big sister. I love you ♥️ I hope you had a great weekend. Mine was tiring but good. My daughter and her husband cook all the time. I cook once in a while but I stress about it. They are so good and my cooking is okay. It takes me a long time. Today I started at 3 pm and finished at 5:30 pm ! But it was good.

    Oh, having people over for dinner is fun, if you like them. LoL. I remember having friends over for dinner when I was a little kid. My mom and dad were great cooks and bakers.

Thanks for reminding me of summer. We had a great warm weekend here in Minnesota. We are in our lake condo in northern Minnesota and I did Yoga outside yesterday and a squirrel walked across my chest. I will have to write a poem about it.
