This is beautifully written and heartfelt all throughout. They say God never gives us more than we can handle. Often I've wondered how this could be. You are a very good mother and your son is very lucky to have you as his mom. I hope in his lifetime they can find a cure for his condition and for many others. I hope the best for you and your son!

Like your poem. This type of disease is frightening when the medicine does not work. Prayers will help ease the concerned mind. Hopefully meds and technology will improve in the years to come.

I've been praying for the Lord to give my 21-year-old granddaughter the power of speech. It would open a door in her mind that would lead to other miracles. I pray that your son will have those voices silenced. What a wonderfully written poem.
