This is a very touching and beautiful poem. It reminds me of recently losing my mother in February of 2020. It still sadden me when I think of losing her. This poem touched my heart. Very well written and heartfelt. The illustration was beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

I loved this one! I read this piece twice, one time aloud, which always tells me it has struck a chord. You did such a good job following the contest rules, and your artwork was spot on. It's such an interesting perspective to take, isn't it, that of our loved one taking the narrative part and telling us what's in their hearts? I wish you great luck, not only in the contest, but in all your writing.
