I like your poem and telling of the good old days. It is sad to think there are so many changes. Some of them are good and some are hard to get used to. I know that Chicago has their bad streets and abundance of crime.

This is a really good poem you have penned about the good old days. I felt the same way as I was reading your poem. My sister and I were very small and we had just one black and white T.V. to watch cartoons on. I remember the T.V. going off and static late at night. Thank you for sharing.
