These short scenes were hilarious. I laughed at these like I did with the last ones you posted. I don't even have a favorite - they were all great.
Thanks for sharing, and best wishes to you.

I was not expecting this! What a blast!! The first one was the best. But honestly, I enjoyed every single one. You are so much fun. If you ever want to write a comedy screenplay together, look me up. Just fabulous!

Wow, thanks for the six stars, I appreciate you reading my story. Now about a comedy screen play. I have a two part story, Was it Murder, The Angels of Death, I think would make a good screen play, it?s in my portfolio. Thanks, Terry

I liked it. All these little vignettes, these little snippets of life, told with personality and wit and humor, and it is a great microcosm of humanity in the end. I liked the opening scene; I think it really illustrates just how insensitive and selfish people have become, and also how abrasive that behavior can be to older people who remember a more respectful time. everyone is more intolerant of each other. The part about the Christmas cards, or lack thereof, contrasted with all the solicitations also sums up the age. The TV ads, the suggestion to move from letters to numbers in getting from a to b at the corperate meeting, that was a favorite. Nice tongue in cheek humor. You might like some of my vignettes from Memories of This World. estory

Wow. This is the most popular post and rank #1. You are a good story teller if you made up all this whimsical tales. I know that electrical cars do work and they work even better and are more fun to drive than the non EV ones. Tesla cars can even do parallel parking for you and pretty soon it will come to you if you want.

Well done.

The man parking in the handicapped marked space was the best .I have encountered many such incidents.
Thank you very much for making me laugh today. It was badly needed.

Thanks for all these great laughs. I especially loved the first one where a driver is challenged as to his handicap. Too bad a policeman isn't around when you need him! My next favorite is the one about buying something because an actor says it's the thing to do.

Hi Terry,
I loved this! So much fun!!! My thing about commercials, the one you forgot to mention, why would someone want to buy something that's fixing some trivial thing... I leak when I sneeze! Eeek!... Take this pill... side effects include blah, blah, blah, all minor things... then you get the fun stuff, bleeding out your eyeballs, heart attack, stroke, or possibly death.
(But you won't leak if you sneeze!)
I always wonder WHY people would buy these drugs???!
I'm going to remember your handicapped parking one... I hate that more than anything! That and people who leave their carts between the cars in the parking lot when there's a carriage return every few feet... of which my sister is one... makes me crazy! (I yell at her, she ignores me... sisters)
Thanks for the fun :)
Susan :)

Susan, dang you had some good ones, maybe you should post a vignette?s story about those, add some more sister stuff and you have a winner! Thank you for reading. Terry

Thank you, Terry. First, I've been feeling poorly and needed to laugh! Secondly, I coughed up a lung. Didn't need it anyway! Laughter is good medicine. Thank you for sharing!

My favorites are the handicapped parking space robber and the Medicare advertisements that far exceed your Christmas cards. Depressing, isn't it?

Sending you my best today as always,
Sal XOs

Your tiny vignettes acutely describe and depict the human condition. Unfortunately, it seems to be a condition that we can never grow out of. But hope springs eternal!

Very well done.

Tell me, Terry, do you come up with these gems off the top of your head? If you do, you have an amazing talent. If all of that actually happened to you, you have an amazing memory. Any way you cut it, it's some dang funny and, some of it profound, stuff.

Jay, to answer your question. Most of the vignettes I write come from observing something and then turning it round to find some humor. Sometimes that leads to a longer piece. That is probably not any different than what you do.

I haven't figured out how to do the detail you can add, which explains why my stuff is shorter. Thank you for reading and for the review. Terry.

I appreciate your explanation. My process, especially of late, is too sluggish to latch onto things whipping through the winds of the mind. In fact, I only have a memory of those winds. I sit in my chair and search. Jay
