Gypsy, your poem is filled with good imagery and sensory appeal.
I especially liked:
dusty track marks left behind
for the curious yearning

I hear that gypsy people can come and go very quickly. They don't like to settle down and on the go all the time. That might be why they can escape quickly and they are known with their quick hands, too.

We are all looking for our tribe throughout life. And perhaps a gypsy's life has a "mystical magical touch" because she isn't tied to the material world as much as those who identify with just one place for an entire lifetime.

Yes, you are right. Gypsies value people, music, dance, and adventure more than material things and staying in place. I love their culture. In Spain we have a lot of gypsies. I identify with them because I move a lot and have similar values. Thus my name. (*<>*)
