You ask an excellent question with your poem. The things we might change, like being born handicapped or to the mother we had, can't be changed. What we can change might have made us an entirely different person, not necessarily one we would like.

Thank you for your high quality insight. You saw exactly what the question was directed to. Thank you for reading my entries. I have looked at some of yours and am going to start reviewing them.

A very interesting question to pose in your contest entry. I think as we get older we get more reflective we get of our past. I do not think there is anyone who has regrets about things they would have done differently, word they wish they could take back or have said.
Very well done.
Good luck in the contest.
Best wishes,
Mary

This was a neat idea, and I liked the picture with it. With the wisdom I have now, there surely are some things I would do differently, but since that's not going to happen, I can just use all that collective wisdom now . . . hopefully! I hope this does well in the contest.

This is a very well written 2-4-2 poem for the contest. It is amazing how your 2-4-2 entry makes so much sense with so few words. Thank you for sharing and best wishes in the contest. Teri

This is a 2-4-2 poem that questions the reader's perception of his or her here and now. The text is easy to read and understand. My answer would be no, unless I could know what I know now. The only thing I would change without that ability is the death of my child. Your short poem has served the purpose of getting us all to reflect with regret or accept with the knowledge "it is what it is". Good luck in the contest.

This 2-4-2, Would Anything Change?, has the proper formatting and asks that question we have all considered. Most might say yes, remembering the pain. Others would say no, feeling the bad led to good.
